Sunbelt Staffing, in partnership with a prominent nationwide home health agency, invites you to join us as a Contract Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) in Georgetown, DE. This role offers the chance to provide compassionate care to patients in their homes while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of a contract position.

Job Details: 

  • Company: Sunbelt Staffing
  • Location: Georgetown, DE 
  • Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
  • Position: Contract Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension upon successful completion
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional weekends, and on-call (typically once per month)
  • Productivity: 25-32 per week 
  • Compensation: Negotiable based off experience and territory 
  • Benefits: .48c visit to visit mileage reimbursement, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k eligibility after 90 days 

    Job Requirements: 

  • Active Delaware Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Oasis and Homecare Homebase required 
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required 
  • Reliable transportation 

    Job Duties: 

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and develop personalized care plans.
  • Administer skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and symptom control, within patients' homes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Utilize OASIS and Homecare Homebase software for accurate documentation, care coordination, and communication.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management techniques, medication administration, and self-care practices.
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize health and well-being.

    Location Details: Georgetown, DE, is a charming town steeped in history and known for its central location in Sussex County. As the county seat, it offers a blend of small-town charm and modern amenities. Georgetown is famous for its historic landmarks, scenic green spaces, and community-focused events like Return Day, a unique post-election celebration.     Important Note: Due to this being a contract opportunity with limited training, one year of experience and proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase are required for consideration.
