ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position in Dallastown, PA, for the 2024/2025 school year. This role involves providing 1:1 care for a middle school student with a seizure disorder. The student is non-verbal and has autism, requiring specialized attention and support throughout the school day.

Position Details:

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 medical care and support for the student throughout the school day
  • Monitor and manage the student’s health, especially concerning their seizure disorder
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure the student's safety and well-being
  • Assist with communication needs and provide general support for the student’s daily activities
  • Maintain accurate health records and follow all medical protocols

    Qualifications:

  • Active LPN license in Pennsylvania
  • Experience working with students with special needs is preferred
  • Strong understanding of seizure management and autism care
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay calm in emergency situations
