Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a dedicated and skilled Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 13-week contract assignment in Columbia, SC. This opportunity is with a respected national home health agency, offering the chance to deliver personalized, high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their homes.

Contract Details: 

  • Location: Columbia, SC, and surrounding areas 
  • Company: Sunbelt Staffing in partnership with Nationwide Home Health Agency 
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
  • Productivity: 25-32 per week, up to 35 patients per week
  • Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget
  • Mileage Reimbursement: 0.48c visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected 
  • Blended Pay Packages: Available for travelers
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k match after 90 days

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs.
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans, medication management, and other health-related topics.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and ensure compliance with agency standards.
  • Travel to patient homes within the area, utilizing reliable transportation.
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

    Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
  • Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) required. 
  • Oasis Certified strongly preferred, but not required. 
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
