Position Overview:

Job Type: Full-Time

Duration: Current School Year(2024-2025)

Grade Levels: Highschool

Work Environment: Supportive school setting with collaboration among educators, counselors, and administrators  
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct social work services to students and families to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges

Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans to enhance student success

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and external agencies to ensure students receive necessary resources

Advocate for students and families to improve academic performance and overall well-being

Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and case management

Promote a positive and inclusive school culture through mental health initiatives  
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

Active School Social Worker license in Massachusetts

Strong knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies and student intervention techniques

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

1:1 Counseling Experience
