Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join our team and support the health and well-being of K–8 students. The CSN will be responsible for providing direct health services, collaborating with educational teams, and contributing to students’ IEPs where appropriate. This role is essential in promoting a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a key member of the IEP team for students with health-related services
Monitor and manage health plans and documentation for students with varying disabilities
Administer medications, provide first aid, and respond to medical emergencies
Caseload & Scope:
K–8 student population across one or more school buildings
Disabilities and health conditions vary in type and complexity
Required Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Certified School Nurse (CSN) Endorsement
