Contract Skilled Nursing Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - LTAC

We are accepting applications for Contract Skilled Nursing Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN for job openings in Opelika, AL. This is a 6-week contracts, see below for more information.

Responsibilities:

• Admitting new residents
• Assisting physicians during rounds of residents’ rooms
• Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
• Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff
• Performing ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and mental health
• Explaining procedures and treatment protocols to residents

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have one year of Long Term Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
• Experience with developmental disabled
• Valid West Virginia LPN License
• Current BLS certification
• Willing to work all shifts
• Candidate must be willing to float
• Highly Motivated and patient
