Job Requirements
Applicants must meet Minnesota state requirements to serve as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a school-based setting. This includes:

Active and valid Minnesota LPN license

Current CPR certification

Experience working with students who have cognitive or behavioral delays preferred

School-based or pediatric nursing experience is strongly recommended

Must pass a background check and meet Forest Lake School District compliance requirements

Must be reliable and accountable, with a strong commitment to student care and support Job Duties
This is a blended role consisting of approximately 20% nursing responsibilities and 80% student behavioral and academic support.
Selected candidates will:

Assist with basic nursing care, medication administration, and health monitoring

Support students with cognitive and behavioral delays throughout the school day

Assist in implementing behavior plans and providing individualized support

Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student safety and success

Provide additional hours on Thursdays and Fridays as needed, based on student needs
