Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pikeville, KY. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, such as angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker insertions.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and responding to changes in vital signs.
  • Administer medications and support the physician in complex cardiovascular interventions.
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care, and follow-up instructions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the EMR system and adhere to safety and quality protocols.

    Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience required.
  • Licensure: RN license in Kentucky or compact state.
  • Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
  • Competency in cardiovascular procedures, excellent critical thinking, and communication skills.
