Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Waltham, MA area. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students, parents, and educators to support student health and well-being in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management.

Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for students with specific medical needs.

Conduct health assessments and screenings for vision, hearing, and other essential evaluations.

Serve as a health resource for students, parents, and staff, promoting wellness education.

Monitor and document student health records in compliance with local and state regulations.

Collaborate with school staff, families, and external healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Support emergency preparedness and response protocols within the school.

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts RN license (required).

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).

CPR and First Aid certification (required).

School nursing experience (preferred).

Familiarity with state health regulations and policies for schools.

Must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Passing a comprehensive background check.

Current immunizations, including TB testing.
