Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Contracted LPN to join our district in Fredricksburg, VA for an assignment working with 1-2 autistic diabetic students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for autistic diabetic students, ensuring safety and proper diabetes management.
  • Administer medications, monitor blood glucose levels, and support daily nursing care routines.
  • Address potential elopement and aggressive behaviors using established behavior support protocols.
  • Collaborate with educators and behavior support teams to ensure a secure learning environment.

    Requirements:

  • Active LPN license in the state of Virginia.
  • Experience working with autistic students and managing diabetes in pediatric settings.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations with calm and effective interventions.
