1:1 School Nurse (RN) opportunity for an elementary school near Arlington, Virginia. 

Sunbelt Staffing is working closely with a school district near Arlington, Virginia to locate a full-time School Nurse (RN) for this school year. 

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid VA RN License
  • Experience in managing gastrostomy tubes, dysphagia, and complex pediatric conditions.
  • Previous experience working with medically fragile children or in pediatric settings is highly preferred.

    Job Details:

  • Provide daily care for a student with a Gastrostomy tube and manage chronic GERD.
  • Monitor and assist with feeding due to dysphagia (oropharyngeal phase) and feeding intolerance.
  • Manage care for a student with global developmental delay, infantile spasms, and spastic hypertonia.
  • Monitor the student's health and weight, addressing issues related to poor weight gain.
